Kötko is a product development brand, designed from its own workshop, allowing the understanding of design in all its stages, from  concept to its conception and assembly.

The importance of this stages integration lies in understanding product´s technique, materiality, durability, use and adaptability to its user.

The Miscelánea collection proposes an encounter of technique and materiality at different historical moments, involving the mastery of modern materials, such as plastic, aluminum and other metals, with ancient legacy techniques: fabrics, wicker and leather.

The juxtaposition of both materials results in a mutual enhancement, enabling a showcase for the recovery of our Mesoamerican history. This is how fabrics from indigenous tradition and primary materials can be reinvented by the hand of industrialized metals.

Developed spaces involve renovations, interventions, new constructions as well as the possibility of exploring solutions to existing needs.

The experience in the technique of making products at different scales allows both attention to detail and materiality, as well as the possibility of thinking new alternatives to solve spatial needs.

Field research on the needs of industrial design have led to several collaborations for other professional areas.

This mutual enrichment links visions in fields as vast as gastronomy, through the exploration of all its elements.
